Working toward a vibrant cheyenne

Thoughtful growth through an empowered community.

Cheyenne is at an important moment in history. We can choose to be pioneers in economic diversification through strategic growth, leveraging our natural resources to our benefit. Our children’s futures and the long-term viability of Wyoming’s economy depend on leaders making sound decisions right now. Janelle Rose is running for Cheyenne City Council to encourage a more empowered community, a stronger business environment, and to create a place where families thrive through affordable housing and quality of life amenities.

Let’s build a Cheyenne that our kids come back to.

Janelle Rose is running for City Council to help build a more livable Cheyenne through service-first leadership, long-term planning, and preservation of the spaces that make our community feel like home. Her experience on the Cheyenne DDA, the Friends of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Board, and as a developer in Cheyenne’s West Edge District have given her invaluable insight into city processes and shaped her vision for Cheyenne’s future.

A More Transparent, Approachable Government

Leadership starts with listening, showing up, and putting residents first. Janelle Rose is running for Cheyenne City Council to make our government more accessible to all residents. People shouldn’t hear about decisions that affect them after decisions are made; we need leaders to plan with the community, not just for them.

Thoughtful Growth

Smart infrastructure and long-term planning both help create a stronger, more livable Cheyenne. Cheyenne needs to leverage our economic opportunities to benefit the entire community. Supporting businesses and creating more attainable housing for middle-income earners should be at the forefront of our conversations.

Preserve Open Space & Create a More Livable Community

Growth matters, but so does protecting the landscapes and breathing room that make Cheyenne special. Safe neighborhoods, connected spaces, and thoughtful development help people love where they live. Janelle is committed to improving public safety and the walkability of our neighborhoods,

Improve Government Efficiency

If Janelle’s business experience has taught her anything, it is that good systems are critical to any operation. Development, business growth, and our economic viability depends on efficiency at our city offices. Cheyenne needs to streamlining permitting, inspections, and city processes while maintaining accountability.

I live here too.

As your neighbor, I care deeply about the everyday quality of life in our community — the streets we drive, the parks we enjoy, the spaces we gather, and the future we’re building together. I want to improve the amenities our families can enjoy here in Cheyenne, both for improved quality of life and to spur on business development for a brighter future.

I am running for Cheyenne City Council Ward 2 to serve.

Let’s build a stronger Cheyenne together. Whether you have a question, an idea, or a concern, I’d love to hear from you.
