Who I am
I believe strong communities are built through service, thoughtful planning, and a shared commitment to the places we call home.
My husband and I moved to Cheyenne in 2011 after living out of state during his medical training. As Wyoming natives, we knew we wanted to return home to raise our family. We chose Cheyenne because of its strong schools, safe neighborhoods, outdoor opportunities, and the sense of community that makes this city special.
Today, Cheyenne is home to our family, our careers, our friendships, and the future we’re helping build for our two teenage daughters. Along with our two dogs, we enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, biking, paddle boarding, running, and exploring everything Wyoming has to offer.
My Investment in Cheyenne
Professionally, I’ve spent my career working with people and communities. I hold a Master’s Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition and began my career as a Registered Dietitian, working in healthcare, community programs, and state-level school policy. Those experiences taught me the importance of listening, collaboration, and making decisions that improve quality of life for the people we serve.
For the past fifteen years, I’ve owned and operated a small business in Cheyenne. Through that work, I’ve had the privilege of meeting and serving countless individuals, families, students, business owners, and organizations throughout our community. Every day, I hear people’s stories, celebrate their milestones, and gain a deeper appreciation for what makes Cheyenne such a remarkable place to live.
My commitment to this community extends beyond my business. I currently serve on the boards of the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens and the Downtown Development Authority. I have also been a downtown property owner and developer in Cheyenne’s West Edge neighborhood and have supported the Reed Avenue Rail Corridor project since its earliest stages because I believe thoughtful investment in public spaces creates lasting benefits for generations to come.
